Built-up urban environments and small housing plots represent sustainable and ecological building. Easily accessible services and less transportation also reduce the carbon footprint of everyday life.

In future, both residential buildings and business premises will be built with energy efficiency in mind, which sets special quality requirements on the structures used. Thanks to a high level of technology and the latest innovations, multistorey construction can be carried out cost-efficiently and competitively using wood elements.

Eridomic manufactures prefabricated elements and complete structural solutions suitable for multistorey construction at the company’s factory and delivers them, ready-to-install, to the construction site. The elements enable quick and safe building.

The Urban MultiStorey™ concept, developed by Stora Enso’s Building Solutions unit, offers designers, architects and construction industry companies a flexible and at the same time cost-efficient option for realising both residential and urban office buildings of the future.

The concept is based on glue-lam solutions that are machined at the factory into ready-to-install elements and on CLT-based wall and roofing elements. The elements can be supplied complete with, for example, integrated doors, windows and insulation.
