The Company

Eridomic Oy is the market leading producer of wood element solutions in Finland. The family company was founded in the town of Pälkäne in 1994 and had a turnover of approximately EUR 10 million in 2010. Eridomic employs some 30 people and the company's customers include public developers, construction companies, private builders and small-scale builders.

Eridomic has delivered close to a million square metres worth of wood elements for various buildings across Finland. We have made huge ceiling structures for the Helsinki Exhibition & Convention Centre and the Seinäjoki Arena, to name just two; but we have also realised smaller-scale projects, such as terraced and balcony-access houses, for example Asunto-osakeyhtiö Villa Opera in Savonlinna. We have extensive experience in the construction of public buildings through our involvement in projects such as day-care centres, assisted living facilities, schools and various public-service centres. In 2010 Stora Enso Building and Living acquired Eridomic Oy, thereby bringing long-term security to the company's operations. Eridomic brings much-needed know-how and a new customer base to Stora Enso's Building Solutions business unit. Eridomic will continue as an independent unit, but in co-operation with Stora Enso will develop a range of wood-based element solutions, not only for roof and hall solutions and smaller homes, but also for multistorey construction.
